Rent Increase Consultation

Our rent consultation for 2022-2023 will close Friday 14th January 2022 at 12 noon. Please complete the survey below, the Management Board will take account of all the feedback received when they consider the rent increase for 2022-2023 at their meeting on 25th January 2022

Question Title

* 1. We aim to keep our rents at an affordable level while managing and maintaining your homes and our estate to an excellent standard. Based on feedback received from wellbeing phone calls with our tenants alongside our recently updated Business Plan 2021-2026, we are pleased to offer 3 rent increase options, please chose your option below.

2.1% (Option 1) - We will continue to deliver services already provided to our tenants including property maintenance, management, and planned investment in your home plus a dedicated fund for additional wellbeing services for tenants including fuel vouchers, food vouchers and other support provisions for those who need it. This option means that we will have to fund any difference between income and increased costs from our reserves. We may not be in a position in future years to maintain CPI rent increases or consider building new homes.

3.1% - (Option 2) As per option 1 current services stay the same and are retained. This option would reduce the cash over 30 years by almost £1 million and could mean we may not be in a position in future years to maintain CPI rent increases or consider building new homes.

3.45% - (Option 3) As per option 1 and 2. This option would reduce the cash over 30 years by just over £630K and could mean we may not be in a position in future years to maintain CPI rent increases or consider building new homes
