The Roundhouse is a nationally significant (Grade II* listed) building in the shape of a horseshoe which dates from 1874 and stands next to the Birmingham Canal on Sheepcote Street.

The National Trust and the Canal & River Trust are going to restore the Roundhouse, transforming it into a hub for urban exploration with bike hire and café. Exploration will be by bike, boat or foot, taking in art, history and nature. We want to help people see Birmingham differently.
