Have your say on our proposed changes to our Council Tax Reduction Scheme
We are consulting on changes to our Council Tax Reduction Scheme to ensure that it is fair for everyone and that it encourages those who are able to work, to do so.
Our proposals will bring it in line with Housing Benefit and Universal Credit schemes.
The Council Tax Reduction scheme is for working age people on a low income. Changes proposed will have no impact for those in vulnerable groups or those in receipt of a state pension.
