A Crisis Café for Sutton

A Crisis Café is a safe, welcoming space where people can go outside of normal working hours, instead of A&E or other urgent services, if they are feeling emotionally distressed or experiencing severe mental health difficulties - a ‘mental health crisis’.

The SWL NHS Sutton commissioners are working with Sutton Mental Health Foundation to look at setting up a pilot Crisis Café in Sutton.  We would like to hear from anyone who works with people with mental health needs as to what would be useful for their patients/clients and what might help in a mental health crisis.

If you could take 5 minutes to answer a few short questions we’d be very grateful.  All your answers will be completely anonymous and treated in confidence; we will only use this information to inform our plans for the Crisis Café in Sutton.
