Parents Survey

We invite you to participate in a Childcare Sufficiency Assessment parent survey.

The purpose of the survey is to establish childcare take-up and future childcare needs within the borough of Reading.

This survey is being conducted by Brighter Futures for Children is a not-for-profit company, wholly owned by, but independent of, Reading Borough Council.

The survey consists of 44 questions and should take no more than approximately 15 minutes to complete. You may refuse to take part in this survey, decline to answer any particular questions or exit the survey at any time.

Your responses will help us learn more about the childcare market in Reading and will allow Brighter Futures for Children to identify any future shortfalls or need in Reading.
 
CONFIDENTIALITY
Your survey answers will be sent to a link at SurveyMonkey.com where data will be stored in a password protected electronic format. Survey Monkey does not collect identifying information such as your name, email address, or IP address. No one will be able to identify you or your answers, and no one will know whether or not you participated in this survey.

All information collected as part of this survey will be aggregated and anonymised and stored securely by Brighter Futures for Children.

The data will only be used for the purpose of analysing childcare need to inform Reading’s annual Childcare Sufficiency Assessment. It will not be shared with any other organisation.

If you chose to comment in the free text boxes within this survey please do not provide any identifying data such as names or childcare setting. 
 
At the end of the survey you will be asked if you would like to enter into a prize draw to win a £50 Highstreet vouchers. If you choose to provide contact information, your survey responses may no longer be anonymous to the researcher. You provide your name for the sole purpose of entering the prize draw, no names or identifying information will be included in the Childcare Sufficiency Assessment, and your responses to this survey will remain confidential.
