About the Third Sector Professional Exchange

Enable is working in partnership with the Third Sector National learning Alliance (TSNLA) to deliver the Third Sector Professional Exchange. The project is funded by the Education and Training Foundation.

The exchange is based on a number of key elements and our event will include elements:
  • Creating a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Champion role within each of the regional partners
  • The exchange of experience and knowledge – drawing on practitioners own experience and skills
  • A 'bottom-up' approach to identifying CPD needs – as well as drawing on local knowledge, national policy and the work of the OTLA projects (Outstanding Teaching, Learning and Assessment) and the Regional Specialist Leads in English and Maths
  • The integration of the Professional Standards
  • Extended reach through participant sharing – with an active role for participants to cascade the learning to colleagues, teams and networks
  • Demonstrating how CPD learning is put into practice to the benefit of learners
  • Using the regional networks as channels for communications and shared learning – as well as the TSNLA learning section of their website
An important part of this process is for you to complete this CPD survey to identify your needs. We will use this information to help shape the event and future CPD support.

In addition we are asking all participants to complete an Equality Monitoring Survey, which will take about 20 minutes to complete. Completion of the Equality Monitoring Survey is entirely voluntary.

Thank you for taking the survey, please click the 'Next' button below to start the survey.
