What are we looking for?
We're looking for global brand, disruptors + innovators to tackle this year's theme, ACT//ION! This year's MAD//Picnic is all about positive things we can do today to carve out a better future for marketing tomorrow (more on the theme below).

We don't want sales pitches, sanitised decks, meandering panels (that's right, no panels) and decks that are doing the rounds at other industry events. All sessions are no longer than 20 minutes. Your content should be punchy and to the point.

Our theme: ACT//ION!
Words are good, but actions speak louder. MAD//Picnic 2020 is about mobilising meaningful action today so we can make marketing better tomorrow.

We know what's good about marketing like brilliant campaigns that stir emotion, awesome creativity, work that genuinely does make a positive contribution to the world, technology that enriches and enhances our experience of brands and content.

We also know we need to deal with issues like advertising funding hate, murky practices, trust, transparency, sustainability and privacy.

MAD//Picnic is about promoting action that will tackle the bad stuff and big ideas that will help us to capitalise emerging opportunities.

Important information & advice
We work with an advisory board of industry leaders and select submissions that will deliver genuine value for our audience of brands, agencies, publishers and tech leaders.

We can't take incomplete submissions.

You must agree your content with MAD//Fest's Content Director prior to the event.

Solution & service providers
15% sessions are reserved for suppliers with genuine innovations, solutions and ideas who support MAD//Fest through sponsorship. We apply the same editorial principles to submissions from paid vendor sessions as the other 85% of independent sessions.

Agency/media/tech submissions: co-presenting clients
If you are an agency, media owner or tech provider and would like to be considered for a speaking lot at MAD//Fest, we strongly advise you to propose a brand client to speak alongside you. This is likely to be looked on favourably both in terms of selection, stage allocation and attendance at specific sessions.
