We are looking into the opportunity to set up a couple of local initiatives in the Ampthill/Flitwick and Bedford areas:

A 'Library of Things', where you can borrow things you need but don't own (e.g. Electric drill, hedge-trimmers), for a small membership or borrowing fee and donate things you own but don't need.

A 'Repair Café' which meets regularly where the local community can get their broken household items repaired for free by volunteers (like clothes, household electrics, technology, woodwork, toys, furniture, bikes) and meet people to share knowledge and skills with your community.
