* 1. To begin with, we would like to establish the extent to which your school is currently implementing a teaching for mastery approach within the classroom. A working definition is: the extent to which whole class interactive teaching aims to develop conceptual understanding and procedural fluency through careful lesson design, resulting in pupil progress together with opportunities o deepen learning as well as offer regular intervention for slower graspers.
