West Alvington Parish Council wants to focus on YOUR priorities for the parish!

West Alvington is probably the largest parish within the South Hams, measuring 1130 hectares, while the village itself is just over 10 hectares. The resident population is 2,042 (2011 census) with the majority of properties being owner-occupied and second homes in the minority. Once a sustainable and independent village with grocers, cobbler, blacksmith, garage, butcher, builder, dairy, pub and even a hospital. All of the parish lies within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The Parish Council consists of up 9 volunteer Councillors and a paid part-time Clerk. The Council want to create a five year plan to ensure that your parish is cared for and maintained in line with your views of the parish and the works/projects that need to be delivered.

Please take a few minutes to complete this survey so that we can make sure your views are incorporated in the updated working document. We will publish the overall results of this survey once all feedback has been collated. However, we promise not share your identity or any other personal information.

Every person who currently lives or owns a home within the Parish Boundary is invited to complete the Questionnaire.
