The OD&M is a project funded by the European Commission (Erasmus Plus - Knowledge Alliance) to develop an Alliance between Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), traditional manufacturers and innovation communities of digital-savvy makers, in order to set up a trust-based framework able to generate knowledge and capacity.
The main objectives are:
- To identify the maker “profile”, their values and principles, and their knowledge, skills and competences.
- To increase awareness for enterprises and universities regarding open design and manufacturing and the maker movement.
The consortium leading this project is formed of 10 partners from diverse backgrounds and nationalities: P2P Foundation (Netherlands); LAMA Developing Change (Italy); Central Saint Martins (UK); University of Deusto (Spain); University of Florence (Italy); University of Dabrowa Gornicza (Poland); Tecnalia (Spain); Tongji university (China); Fablab London and Fablab Lodz.
