TLCP Patient Survey - Enhanced Access |
Patient Engagement Enhanced Access Hours
General Practice within the NHS is being asked to open for longer hours from 1st October 2022.
This plan is for the same number of appointments to be spread over a longer time frame. The Lewisham Care Partnership is now one practice and a Primary Care Network.

We will be required to open on a Saturday from 9am to 5pm and initially during the week 6.30pm to 8pm. There is a possibility that if patients would like early morning 7am to 8am appointments and this is demonstrated in the survey returns we might be able to offer some. This will be a decision of the Local Health Commissioners.
The appointments will cover most of the services we offer during our current opening hours and will be a combination of Face 2 Face and remote consultations.
We will be required to open our doors for an extra 15.5 hours a week and within those hours offer 54 hours of appointments from our clinical team.
We will only be opening one of our sites at anyone time. For example Belmont Hill might be open early on Monday and St Johns Monday evening. Saturday opening is likely to be from one permanent site. We need to take account of travel to and from our Saturday working site to accommodate all our 57k patients.
We would like as many patients as possible to complete the short survey. We cannot guarantee to meet everyone's expectations but your thoughts will help us in discussions with staff and local Health Commissioners
Thank you
