Purpose of this Consultation

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is currently consulting on the Ulster Scots Policy and is seeking feedback on the current draft.

Sections of the draft policy have been included within this online survey to make your response easier.

The Ulster Scots Policy aims to protect, promote and enhance Ulster Scots culture and heritage, including its language, arts and literature. This Policy is a local response to various regional, national and international initiatives and programmes as well as the statutory obligations for the Council. It aspires to help promote respect, understanding and good relations within the Council and the District.

This Policy will function within the broader context of the Council’s Corporate and Community Plans, Good Relations Strategy, Corporate Brand Identity and Linguistic Diversity Policy all of which can be found at www.fermanaghomagh.com.
