Nomination for 2020 GÉANT Community Award

The award will be announced in June at an online event further to the cancellation of TNC20, Brighton, 8-12 June 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In order to assess all nominations equally we will also need to know some basic facts about you and the person you are nominating. Please fill in all fields as fully as you can - all questions are compulsory.

There are three main criteria for these awards:

   a) The nominee shared specific ideas or improvements which have had lasting impact on the organisation, project or community.
   b) He / she significantly contributed to the GÉANT project or wider community activities over a sustained period of time. 
   c) He / she has made outstanding contributions to the project or community which have immediately led to significant and recognisable new ideas, developments or improvements over the last 12 months. 

Among other things, you will be asked to explain why you feel the nominee deserves special recognition, whether their work was part of a team effort or has already received wider recognition, or if you have any ideas for a relevant (personal, token) gift.

A maximum of two completed submissions will be accepted; if more than two nominations are submitted, the first two completed forms will be accepted.

Nominations for people who were nominated, but not selected in previous years will be accepted. Submissions deadline: midnight CEST on Friday 3 April 2020.
