Registration for Alopecia UK Volunteer Team @ British Classic and Sports Car Gala |
Saturday 6th, Sunday 7th and Monday 8th May 2017
We are delighted to announce that Alopecia UK has been selected by the Chichester MG Owners' Club to be their Charity Partner for the 2017 Showcase British Classic and Sports Car Gala (www.showcase-classic-cars.events).
This is a fabulous opportunity for our little charity to raise its public profile, raise loads of money, and bring our volunteers and supporters together for a fun team event.
We're delighted to confirm that our charity ambassador Joanna Rowsell Shand MBE will also be present at the event, greeting the rally drivers, and hosting the event prize giving.
The event takes place on Sunday 7th May at Cowdray House, Midhurst, West Sussex.
We need as many volunteers as we can find to help us deliver this event and make it a big success!
Entry to the event is free for volunteers, so please come to support the charity, and bring your friends and family along to help too.

When: Saturday 6th May 2017 (Set up day), Sunday 7th May 2017 (Event day) & Monday 8th May 2017 (clear down day). Please volunteer for any or all days according to your availability.
Where: Cowdray House near Midhurst in West Sussex (Postcode GU29 0AQ).

Volunteer roles on Saturday and Monday: the volunteer roles on these days will be more physical with volunteers needed to help set up gazebos, ropes, tables, chairs etc and then take them down again on the Monday.
Volunteer roles on Sunday (Event day) will include:
- Facilitating Games Stalls
- Manage the general public entry gate - selling tickets etc
- Stewards to patrol the showground & monitoring proceedings
- Raffle ticket sellers
- Hospitality Team (looking after the event musicians, marshals and volunteers)
- Event Office Team
- PR/Communications officer
- Charity Tent Team
- Rally route liners
As you can see we need A LOT of volunteers! If you can help please complete this form to register your availability. It is made up of five sections:

It should only take 5-10 minutes to complete as many questions are multiple choice type questions.
Children under 16 can be registered as part of their parent/guardians registration but please ask friends and family (age 16 and over) to register themselves. There will be space for them to mention if they are registering as part of a group which will help us ensure we put you together in your volunteer roles on the day.
