16-25 year olds views on accessing mental health services within Plymouth
How many times have you heard the word ‘cliff edge’ being used when young people talk about transition or seeking support from other mental health services?
Livewell Southwest is due to embark on developing a service for 16–25-year-olds that will help ensure that this group gets the right support. Livewell Southwest understands that to do so, young people’s voices and experience are the key to making this a successful service.
We are currently looking for as many 16-25-year-olds who have experienced mental health support from Plymouth to complete the following quick questionnaire. This will allow us to recognise the support and requirements that are needed.
Perhaps, you would like to take this one step further!
We are keen to set up a co-production team, incorporating 16–25-year-olds who have experienced mental health support from across Plymouth to help us shape and steer the new service to ensure that future young people in transition or seeking other mental health services have a more robust and supported pathway.
We are keen to include you in the following: developing in depth project plans and sessions, sharing your own and other young people’s experiences, speaking and/or presenting at events and being an active member on social media.
Make the difference today, today could be the day that will change someone else’s pathway.
