Each year the Board of West of Scotland Housing Association has to take a decision about the rent level to be charged for the year ahead. As part of the decision making process we undertake a consultation exercise to gather the views of tenants to share with the Board, who will consider this feedback before making a decision.
To assist the Board in making it a decision it would be helpful if you could answer the following questions.
The current proposal is to increase rents by inflation plus 1%. We will base this decision on the inflation figure announced in September as with previous years. The inflation figure for August was 1.7%. This would lead to an average weekly rent increase of £2.21.
