Applicants wishing to tender for the EU-funded poinsettia marketing campaign “Stars Unite Europe” 2021-2024 should fill in this pre-check form. The campaign will run from 1st June 2021 - 31st May 2024 (some preparation may be required beforehand).
 
If your pre-check application is shortlisted to proceed to the next stage, you will receive a detailed briefing and templates to submit a full proposal in November 2020. 

The campaign will be active in: Germany, Spain, France, Italy, The Netherlands, Poland, Sweden 
 
Application deadlines
The pre-check application deadline is 3 November 2020, 11pm CET.
This is not your full application tender. Shortlisted agencies will receive a full template to make an offer in early November, with the final deadline in early December. 

Budgets
• For Germany, by far the biggest market for poinsettias, approx. 145,000€ per year is allocated (438,500€ for 3 years).
• For the other six countries, approx. up to 50,000€ is available per country campaign per year (147,750€ for 3 years). 
• Approx. 110,000€ per year is available for international measures - pictures, texts, layouts, etc. (333,000€ for 3 years).
• Budget splitting will be arranged if specific areas of the campaign are offered. 
 
Activities
There are five main campaign areas, each with different activities available for tender:-

International campaign
Core materials for use by all countries: social media, blog uploads, text writing, photoshoot briefing, video production, digital PoS materials
Country campaign
Delivering the campaign in national markets via PR, media, events, social media 
Printed point of sale (PoS) materials  
Distributing printed materials to retail stores (Germany & Poland only)
Trade fair IPM Essen
Organising booth
Cross-media promotion in Germany
Specialist media coverage to reach both trade and consumer (Germany only)
