The development is for 115 houses to be built in the field immediately north of Meadow Park, Galgate.

The extra traffic will be fine and the development should proceed

Up to 250 more cars using Highland Brow and Salford Road would negatively impact the safety of existing road users

Salford Road, Highland Brow and Conder Green Road are too narrow and already hazardous to road users

There is already too much traffic on Salford Road causing congestion

Cars parked by the railway viaduct cause a hazard to road users

The Salford Road pavements are too narrow for pedestrians (including primary school children) to feel safe

Cars parked on the pavements make it unsafe for cyclists and pedestrians

It is not safe to cycle or walk to school or the amenities on Salford Road

Conder Green Road going west towards Glasson Dock is not a safe-functioning two-way road

Highland Brow going north towards Lancaster is hazardous due to being narrow and the speed of the traffic

Salford Road does not function well as a two-way road due to parked cars

The hill on Highland Brow is already a hazard, so a new T-junction will exacerbate this

Ou Beck can cope with the floods of the future and the development should proceed

The proposed building site is a flood zone and should not be built on

Ou Beck cannot cope with any more developed land run-off water

The Ou Beck culvert canal-crossing on Leachfield Road will not cope with extra water

1-in-100-year flood events are now more frequent and intense

The development will threaten the viability of existing flood defences

Downstream residents will suffer the consequences of future flooding

Developments on Hala, Bailrigg and Health Innovation Centre also drain into Ou Beck - enough is enough!

Galgate village including Meadow Park has flooded several times in the last 20 years

I cannot get insurance against flooding, or my insurance premiums have gone up due to flooding

This development does not fit in with the climate emergency agenda

I think that the plants and wildlife will be fine and the development should proceed

Many species of wildlife are having their natural habitat squeezed or destroyed

This development will affect the homes and paths of red-listed protected species such as transient otters, sparrow hawks, lapwings, herons, kingfishers, great crested newts, toads, frogs, owls and grey bearded bats

The site contains ancient hedgerows that need protecting

There will be a grave loss of biodiversity, especially as this is a wetland field

The noise of heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) over the next 5 years will be detrimental to my health and well-being

Local schools are already over subscribed

The next nearest school is Glasson Dock which is impractical on a daily basis

I don’t feel that Conder Green road is safe to drive my children to school

There are not enough schools in the local area

There are not enough doctors or dentists in the local area

There is no public transport from this site

I think the utilities will cope well with the new development

The waste water sewage infrastructure on Meadow Park will not cope with another 115 houses

I expect that the schedule to keep drainage pipes and culverts unblocked will not be maintained

Drains in Galgate are not properly maintained contributing to flooding

I believe that things are fine even if a 'Green Buffer Zone' is NOT created

I understood that the promised 'Green Buffer Zone' would start from the existing Galgate boundary

I understood that the promised 'Green Buffer Zone' would start after the proposed development boundary

I feel that Lancaster City Council have deceived the local people regarding the promise of the 'Green Buffer Zone'

BGV is already planning 9000 houses, that’s enough

I am concerned about the loss of the 'Green Buffer Zone', so the development should not proceed

All the houses on Meadow Park are bungalows, so these new 115 two-storey houses would be out of character
