We've been growing very fast and your sessions are getting longer with more pick-ups, more sorting, more deliveries and more cleaning.

The role of driver with the hub will mean lifting and carrying of food.  Please let us know if you have any back problems or other health issues that we need to know about, so that we can ensure that the role is suitable for you and we can adapt our practices where necessary.  Because we're handling food we need to know if you have recurring stomach, skin/ear or throat infections, have jaundice, have/have had typhoid or are a carrier of salmonella.

* 12. Would you like to take more responsibility in running the hub?

There are three main roles for now, 1) sorting/driving;  2)  co-ordinating the day's food run (collecting food and supporting the sort) 3) helping with admin or fundraising.  We need more co-ordination and organising power to keep things running smoothly.

* 13. Would you like to be reimbursed for your fuel costs?

It's an important principle that you can reclaim your fuel costs back and we are able to reimburse you based on mileage at 25p per mile.   Would you like to reclaim your fuel costs for 2017/18?

We have estimated what you can claim for last year based on the rota and we would appreciate it if you could let us know by 7 August if you would like to do so. However, if you are able to donate your fuel as well as your time we are grateful as this reduces our fundraising needs.

For 2018/19 we would like you to reclaim your fuel costs on a quarterly basis based on your journeys for the Food Hub. If you are able to donate your fuel, we will be asking you to claim your expenses and then donate them back with 25% Giftaid (where applicable) so that we can create a fund to cover fuel costs.
