HomeshareUK is conducting research into developing Homeshare in Scotland.

Homeshare is an intergenerational housing option in which older people (Householders) provide an affordable home to a younger person in exchange for support with everyday tasks such as shopping, cooking and cleaning, along with companionship.

As an older person, you have company, an overnight presence and support with practical tasks. Anyone can be a householder as long as you have a comfortable spare room and would benefit from the company and help around the house.
