Quaker service for 18-35 year olds

The Engaging Young Adult Quakers Project is doing some research into the kinds of Quaker service that people aged 18-35 would like to be involved in.

We’ve been researching various models, including the Quaker Voluntary Service programme in the United States, and the Young Adult Leadership Programme which ran until 2018 at Woodbrooke.

We recognise that there is no one programme which can meet the needs of all young adult Friends in Britain. However, we have the opportunity to try and develop at least two new programmes which we think might look very different and between them, hopefully meet a lot of the needs identified by this survey. These may have elements of existing or previous models, but they will be crucially shaped by the feedback that you give us now: particularly in trying to remove the barriers to Quaker service that currently exist.
