North Hertfordshire Community Safety Partnership Survey 2021

This survey is published and managed by North Hertfordshire District Council using SurveyMonkey.

On 16 July the European Court of Justice (CJEU) determined that the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework—the framework agreed between the European Union (EU) and the US for the transfer of personal data to the US—was invalid. 

Although SurveyMonkey was certified under Privacy Shield, SurveyMonkey have also, for several years, offered many of their customers the alternative of applying Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) to their account. These Standard Contractual Clauses are a set of contract clauses established by the European Commission to legitimise and govern data transfers out of Europe to third countries.    The SCCs have not been invalidated by the decision of the CJEU.

North Hertfordshire District Council confirm that the Standard Contractual Clauses provided by SurveyMonkey have been applied to all Surveys carried out by North Hertfordshire District Council.

Any personal information that is either provided by you or captured during the survey may be transferred to the United States of America and may also be shared worldwide.

Personal information includes, but not limited to, Name, Address, Date of Birth, identification number, location data, IP address.
