Perspectives on Teaching Excellence in Higher Education [V3] |
Introduction to our research study
Thank you for choosing to participate in our study.
In recent times, there has been an increased focus on the notion of 'teaching excellence' within Higher Education Institutions across the world. In this comparative study, we are interested in finding out the views of academics in England and Australia on the notion of teaching excellence and how contextual differences might influence this notion. We are keen to identify what skills and qualities academics like yourselves believe constitute excellent teaching. We also want to explore how institutional and national policies might influence how individual views are framed.
You can find further details of the study on our research information sheet here which we would request you to read prior to participating in this survey. This study have been approved by the ethics committee at Liverpool Hope University and the Pro-Vice-Chancellor Research at the University of New England Your participation in this online survey will be taken as your consent for the study.
