Thursday 21 July - Sunday 11 September

To celebrate the Tour of Britain cycle race coming to the Isle of Wight on Sunday 11 September, the Isle of Wight Council and Visit Isle of Wight have launched an Island wide Land Art competition.  The tradition of creating land art masterpieces along the route has long been the practice at the Tour of Britain, as well as other cycle races around the world.

With over half of the Island classed as an area of outstanding natural beauty, along with its UNESCO Biosphere Reserve status, the Island offers plenty to shout about and showcase to the world. So, take inspiration from what's on your doorstep and come together to create a special and historical masterpiece to help celebrate the prestigious race coming here.

The more creative, spectacular and sustainably crafted the better; create your masterpiece with reuse, repurpose and recycle in mind.

There are seven categories to choose from and there will be a winner from each category. Winning entries will receive a £50 Wight Gift card that can be redeemed at registered businesses on the Isle of Wight, both in-store and online.
