This year we experienced our first non-face-to-face ARCP panel. This was expedited due to COVID-19 but there is a push from HEE to make this the normal process going forward.

We are keen to understand your experience of the process and your thoughts so we can make recommendations to take this process forward.

The Trainee Board are considering virtual teaching in case further events are post-poned due to COVID-19.

The TPDs have kindly agreed to do a live web based Q and A on June 23rd 2020. (time and format TBC) They will give a short presentation on how they see COVID-19 affecting our training and ARCP/progression outcomes. They will have time to answer some pre-prepared questions.

* 6. Mentoring Scheme
The Regional Training Committee is initially proposing a buddy and mentorship programme to give us an opportunity to regain the valuable time we have missed out on whilst regional training is on hold but also provide support to those who are more junior or simply seeking a way of improving specific areas of our work and training. 

Ultimately, the aim will be to enroll all new ST3 trainees into the programme to be supported by a more senior trainee within their hospital if it proves successful.
