North Berwick & Covid 19: Sharing Experiences and Views
COVID 19: LEARNING FROM EXPERIENCE
Covid 19 has had a major impact and the community response has been inspiring. We would like to know about your experiences of Covid 19, what's worked well, what needs to change and how we can do thing better in future.
The North Berwick Community Emergency Resilience Plan was invoked on March 8th 2020 in response to Covid 19. Covid has proved to be a totally different type of emergency to previous snow and bad weather. Everyone has been affected to some extent and the threat of spreading the virus meant everything has had to be done differently. The community response was exceptional. We want to learn from this experience and improve our response as a community, so we are as prepared as we can be for future emergencies - whether future waves of Covid 19 or the more familiar weather problems.
We'll be holding a series of Community events (on Zoom due to risks of viral transfer) and this short questionnaire. You can complete it online, write to us or phone in your views.
This survey asks for your experience and views of what went well, what didn't, what we need to do differently in future and what you think should happen next. Last time, we arranged for paper copies to be available, that can't happen this time. But you can:
Post your thoughts to us at North Berwick CER Team, c/o North Berwick Community Centre, 8 Law Road, North Berwick, East Lothian EH39 4PN
Phone: Sue Northrop, the NB Community Emergency Resilience Plan Coordinator on TEL: 0774563 6441

Your views will help us as a community learn from our experience and be better prepared for future emergencies.
Thank you so much for your time.
