Internet Use Survey

Introduction

Caledonia is undertaking a survey of its residents to understand how many make use of the internet, what device they use to connect and what they use the internet for. We are also trying to find out how many do not use the internet and why.

Please be assured that the information supplied in the survey will be held in the strictest confidence. It will only be used to help inform our plans to develop more digital means of communication and to develop digital services that will allow residents access to their information or to request services at any time of the day or night.

Importantly it will also help us to determine how many of our residents may struggle to engage with these new digital services or may prefer not to engage and retain more traditional methods of communication. This will help us to develop a digital inclusion strategy which will set out how we can support or assist those residents who want to become more digitally able and confident.
