Cardiff & Vale University Health Board

The Single Point of Access (SPOA) is the entry point for referrals to specialist Emotional Wellbeing & Mental Health services for children and young people under the age of 18 years.

The newest iteration of the SPOA includes a consultation line for professionals to ring for advice if they are unsure whether a mental health assessment would meet a child or young person’s needs. This service is currently open between 10am – 2pm Monday to Friday.

The development of the SPOA is a new way of working for us and for our partners that support children, young people and families.

We are always looking to improve our services, and your feedback is important to our ongoing improvement efforts. This is a short survey to capture your thoughts on how the SPOA currently works and what we can improve on. This will take around 5 minutes to complete.
