Your views on health and social care integration

Government policy is for health and social care to work much more closely together. Some politicians and policy makers are calling for the creation of a single health and social care organisation in a geographical area. Others stop short of this fully blown "integrated" model, but are wanting a move to much more integration. The implications for social workers of this policy direction are great. BASW are developing a policy position on the subject and we want practitioners' views to inform the policy. You can read the background documents and draft policy and draft "Charter" here.
